Why ADMAnet delivers long‑term stability and integration safety
Reliable measurement data is not only about precision – it is about data consistency, long‑term compatibility and seamless integration into complex toolchains.
ADMAnet has been designed as a clearly defined, deterministic data stream that has been a stable cornerstone of GeneSys systems for many years.

Low Latency
ADMAnet is optimized for very low output latency of better than 1 ms, making it ideally suited for real‑time and closed‑loop applications. Measurement data is provided with minimal delay, enabling fast reaction times for driver‑in‑the‑loop setups, robot controllers, ADAS validation systems and real‑time visualization tools. Combined with deterministic packet structures and Ethernet‑based transmission, ADMAnet delivers a data stream that is both precise and fast enough for demanding real‑time use cases.

Future-proof
ADMAnet uses a fixed packet structure with reserved byte blocks, allowing the data stream to be extended step by step while maintaining full backward compatibility. Existing customer implementations continue to work unchanged, even as new signals and data channels are introduced.

Tracable
In addition to measurement data, ADMAnet cyclically transmits parts of the ADMA system configuration within the stream header. Once a full header cycle is received, the complete configuration can be reconstructed and stored automatically. This ensures reliable traceability and simplifies data logging and post‑processing.

Part of the ADMA ecosystem
GeneSys provides a comprehensive set of free software tools as part of the GeneSys Software Suite.
With the ADMA Data Logger, ADMAnet streams can be recorded quickly and reliably, while live data is visualized in predefined views with descriptions and images, enabling an intuitive understanding of ADMA data within seconds.
The ADMA Data Analyzer allows both customers and GeneSys support to efficiently analyze recorded data using graphs, trajectory plots, status analysis and conversion tools.

Easily integrated
ADMAnet supports a wide range of integration options for customer software environments. Standardized interfaces such as DLLs and XML definitions enable fast and reliable integration with minimal effort. In addition, ADMAnet is supported by numerous partner software solutions, forming a growing ecosystem across automotive testing, robotics and validation applications.

Highly efficient
ADMAnet is designed to minimize network load in complex test environments. Instead of network wide broadcast traffic, the data stream can be transmitted in parallel to up to five dedicated IP addresses. This unicast based approach improves network determinism and ensures reliable data delivery even when multiple clients operate simultaneously.

Understandable
For detailed inspection and debugging, GeneSys provides dedicated LUA scripts for Wireshark. These scripts decode ADMAnet packets directly within Wireshark, making measurement data, headers and configuration content immediately readable at packet level and enabling transparent analysis of live data streams.

Flexible
ADMAnet supports the parallel transmission of up to eight predefined Points of Interest (POIs), enabling a consistent representation of the vehicle shape within a single data stream. Multiple reference points can be tracked simultaneously, supporting advanced ADAS, vehicle dynamics and target based evaluation scenarios.
