Dynamic Stability Enhancement (DSE)

Next‑Level Precision Through Smarter Vehicle Dynamics

By enhancing the ADMA Kalman Filter with Dynamic Stability Enhancement (DSE), we are setting another milestone in GNSS/INS fusion technology. Thanks to the intelligent combination of an extended vehicle model and a dynamically adaptive filter design, ADMA systems will achieve significantly more robust performance in the future – especially in challenging GNSS environments.

Up to 25–50% fewer outage errors after just 60 seconds

Thanks to the integrated vehicle model, the Kalman filter now understands driving behavior with even greater precision. This results in a noticeable improvement in estimation quality during brief GNSS signal outages.

After just 60 seconds, there is a 25–50% reduction in positional outage errors – a significant advantage for all applications that require high availability and stability.

More stable side slip angle (SSA) for challenging driving maneuvers

The new filter intelligence ensures a significantly more stable side-slip angle (SSA) estimate. The system detects dynamic transitions – acceleration, braking, cornering, micro-maneuvers – earlier and more accurately.

The result: more precise modeling of vehicle lateral motion, less drift in the lateral angle, and more consistent SSA estimates even under challenging GNSS conditions.

Optimized for modern ADAS and vehicle dynamics applications

To deliver reliable results in demanding test environments – from highly dynamic maneuvers to GNSS-critical situations – the new dynamic Kalman filter has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of modern ADAS and vehicle dynamics testing. In practice, users benefit from:

  • more stable trajectories even during brief GNSS signal loss
  • reduced drift in urban canyons and low-speed scenarios
  • greater repeatability of tests in ADAS and vehicle dynamics procedures

Seamless integration with ADMA 3.5 systems

The Dynamic Stability Enhancement (DSE) features are enabled by default in all ADMA systems starting with firmware version 35.3 – no license add-on, no manual activation, and no hardware adjustments required.

Simply update to the new firmware version for free and immediately benefit from improved stability, reduced outage errors, and a more precise SideSlipAngle.
