New version of the ADMA Data Logger available – More features for precise vehicle dynamics and ADAS Testing

The development of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving functions requires highly accurate measurement data. With the new ADMA Data Logger version 1.1.597, GeneSys Elektronik GmbH delivers a powerful solution that simplifies data acquisition and analysis for engineers worldwide.

This update is now available in the Download Section and introduces numerous new features designed to make your testing process faster, more efficient, and more reliable.

Why upgrade to the new version?

The latest ADMA Data Logger release is more than a simple update: it’s a major step forward in usability and functionality. You benefit from an intuitive interface, enhanced visualization tools, and improved workflows that save time and increase accuracy. Less time spent on setup means more time for innovation.

Key new features in detail

Recorder Widget from the ADMA Data Logger

Recorder Widget: Visualize Data Channels

The new Recorder Widget allows you to plot any data channels over time. Combine multiple channels into a single recorder for easy comparisons and quick evaluations directly on the test track.

Map Widget: Track Vehicle Trajectories

With the Map Widget, you can assign multiple ADMA systems and display trajectories on OpenStreetMap. This feature provides a clear view of vehicle positions and paths, ideal for complex ADAS scenarios.

Direction Flipper – Flexible Installation

This feature simplifies testing when ADMA systems are mounted in reverse orientation. Instead of reinstalling hardware, you can flip the measurement direction in software, saving valuable time.

New workspaces presets for faster setups

Version 1.1.597 includes several ready-to-use presets:

  • Parking Lot: Visualize parking maneuvers and related measurement data.
  • Getting Started: Perfect for beginners, explore basic data and coordinate systems.
  • IPS: Step-by-step guidance for initialization and test drives.

You can now duplicate workspaces, making it easier to create custom templates for recurring test scenarios.

Additional Improvements

  • Start/Stop via Web Interface: Control ADMA systems directly from the Logger without extra software.
  • Copy Live Values: Copy values to the clipboard for external configuration tasks.
  • Measurement Drive Documentation: Add notes to each recording for better traceability and reporting.

Your advantages at a glance

With the new ADMA Data Logger, you benefit from intuitive operation, high usability, and regular software updates. The solution is available free of charge and supports all common test protocols. This allows you to optimize your development processes and improve the quality of your results.
