GeneSys Elektronik will be participating in the VIL Tour 2025, held at the AUREL proving ground in Břehyně, Czech Republic. The event is organized by AUREL and Datron Technology Sensors & Systems and focuses on testing ADAS and automated driving functions in virtual environments.
The program includes several live demonstrations, such as:
🔹Testing of automatic emergency braking (AEB) and adaptive cruise control (ACC) functions in real vehicles with simulated obstacles
🔹Scalable testing of automated driving functions using mixed reality and control robots
🔹Presentation of the latest Euro NCAP “Dooring” test by GeneSys experts. The test uses the GNSS-based inertial system ADMA for precise measurement and validation
The dooring test evaluates how vehicles detect and prevent accidents involving vulnerable road users, such as cyclists, when vehicle doors are opened. A central topic of the event is the Vehicle in the Loop approach, which combines real-world testing with virtual simulation to support the efficient development and validation of modern driving functions.
GeneSys Elektronik will be presenting alongside partners including MdynamiX, IPG Automotive, STÄHLE GmbH, 3D Mapping Solutions, and TRE GmbH, demonstrating how integrated testing methods contribute to innovation in the automotive industry.
