The GeneSys WiFi-Kit Outdoor is a completely waterproof, rugged, and super high powered outdoor wireless device. With high performance and long range, it improves the communication between ADMAs or data acquisition systems. It is designed for easy installation on the roof of the vehicle with magnetic base. Alternatively, it is possible to assemble a side window clamp.
Comparing with the standard GeneSys WiFi-Kit, the dual band omnidirectional antenna can be connected directly via N-Type connector. Thus, no antenna cable will cause a weak link. Based on industrial type high power dual band WiFi antenna a distance between vehicles of around 1km can be reached.
