id=\"h-adma-settings\">ADMA Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Open your browser, call the ADMA Webinterface (Default: 192.168.88.30) and enable the Ethernet data output and configure the following id=\"h-installation-of-the-driver\">Installation of the Driver<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To install the plugin with the help of a graphical setup wizard, simply double-click the setup routine (e. g. <strong>Vector_CANape_22_GeneSys_ADMA_3.3.x_Setup_22.0.20.0.exe<\/strong>) and follow the instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The naming convention for the setup files look like follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">Vector_CANape_{canape version}_GeneSys_ADMA_{firmware version}_Setup_{plugin version}.exe<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>The files will be installed in the following directory with the following structure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">$CANape_DIR\/Exec64\/Plugins\/ProtocolDecoder\/GeneSys\/<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img sizes=\"(max-width: 651px) 100vw, 651px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-handling-the-devices\">Handling the Devices<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This section will describe the setup of the ADMA Unit in CANape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, open the Vector Hardware Manager, switch to configuration view (<strong>1<\/strong>), and the Ethernet device configuration (<strong>2<\/strong>), add a network (<strong>3<\/strong>) (named Ethernet1 in the picture (<strong>4<\/strong>)), a link to an Ethernet port on your VNxxxx (<strong>5<\/strong>) and deploy it (<strong>6<\/strong>):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"839\" height=\"446\" is connected to <strong>ETH13 <\/strong>on the <strong>VN5640<\/strong>. We set this channel to CANape Ethernet 1. The Decoder Plugin can record this configuration and then save it in the CANape project directory as a GSCI file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To activate this behavior, only the <strong>Configuration_Write_Status<\/strong> signal must be measured in the CANape project.
