For the basic setup of the ADMA system, please refer to the ADMA Manual. The change of the receiver hardware requires a power reset!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first step, Used receiver type has to be configured to IPS at <strong>5\ufe0f\u20e3 AUX SYSTEMS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"421\" height=\"279\" src=\"https:\/\/genesys-offenburg.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/image-24.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23587\" srcset=\"https:\/\/genesys-offenburg.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/image-24.png 421w, https:\/\/genesys-offenburg.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/image-24-300x199.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 421px) 100vw, 421px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>At <strong>6\ufe0f\u20e3 PARAMETERS<\/strong>, the mounting offsets from the rover unit to the ADMA measurement center have to be defined. We recommend to measure the offsets with an accuracy of 2 cm. Please place the vehicle with the installed rover at a central position and measure the positions of all beacons with a handheld laser or a Total Station within a accuracy of 1cm. The process needs to be completed in ten steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1<\/strong> For the delay calibration it is important that the rover is in a central position between the beacons. If it didn\u2019t get moved after the survey of the handheld laser or the Total Station, these position data can be used for the calibration. If not, the position of the rover has to be determined accurately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong> Establish a connection to the rover via serial cable (RLCAB151) and power the rover. Open the \u2018VIPS site verification and diagnostics\u2019 software. Change the rover type to beacon by hitting the <strong><em>Rover To Beacon<\/em><\/strong> button. Take care not to move the beacon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 5<\/strong> Load the configuration file again by dragging it into the <strong><em>beacon <\/em><\/strong><em><strong>locations<\/strong> <\/em>box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 6<\/strong> Double-Click on the last beacon ID in the list and enter the position data of the rover that got measured by the total station eralier on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 7<\/strong> Click <strong><em>Connect and Measure<\/em><\/strong>. Open the \u2018VIPS site configuration\u2019 software and configure the following values:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Enable block beacon detection:<\/strong><\/td><td>Off<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Enable elevation correction:<\/strong><\/td><td>Off<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Rotation angle:<\/strong><\/td><td>0\u00b0 (If the coordinate system of the IPS shall include the rotation to the real north, please determine the angle offset and configure it here.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"680\" height=\"539\" src=\"https:\/\/genesys-offenburg.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/image-34.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23609\" srcset=\"https:\/\/genesys-offenburg.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/image-34.png 680w, https:\/\/genesys-offenburg.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/image-34-300x238.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 9<\/strong> Check the plausibility of the beacon delay values. The system is now ready for usage.
