By using the Ethernet Broadcast function multiple ADMA&#8217;s can be provided. This functionality can reduce your workload and costs. They use datagram sockets to establish host-to-host communications. An application binds a socket to its endpoint of data transmission, which is a combination of an IP address and a service port.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Port numbers are 16-bit integer values, which tag individual file formats to be identified. We recommend using port numbers ranging between 1024 and 65535. For different data outputs, like the correction data forwarding, separate service ports have to be used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Destination IP\/Port number<\/strong><br>This field identifies the receiver&#8217;s IP\/Port and is required. Similar to source port number, if the Client-ADMA is the destination host then the port number will likely be a well-known IP and port number of the Master-ADMA. To use the Ethernet Broadcast function set the last character of the destination IP to 255.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Source IP\/Port number<\/strong><br>This field identifies the sender&#8217;s IP\/Port. If the source host is the Client-ADMA, the port number is likely to be a well-known IP and port number of the Master-ADMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IP settings of the ADMA Ethernet ports can be changed on menu <strong>2\ufe0f\u20e3<\/strong> <strong>DATA LINK<\/strong>.
